Duck Egg

Here is a picture of the duck egg I prepared for myself!  I got it from Whole Foods and it cost $1.99 which is quite a lot for a single egg of its size.  The unbroken egg is slightly larger than a chicken egg with a more translucent almost greyish looking shell.  The shell seemed to have a bit of flex to it when I broke it open whereas regular chicken eggs tend to be much more brittle.  Duck eggs are also slightly bigger than large/x-large chicken eggs that I normally get.  The egg tasted exactly like an egg.  It was a bit richer than a chicken egg but the best way I can describe it is "a really good egg"
