This past week

I feel like I am slowing down a bit.  I am not quite as excited about this as I was when I started but really I expected that to wear off a bit.  Last weekend I made the soft pretzel mix just to cross it off the list.  I have now made two different pretzel mixes and neither one was anywhere near as good as when I make them from scratch.

I am getting a new phone this week so that is going to be complete soon.  I'm also making slow progress on the Linux thing.  I am reading about three books at once, hopefully I will finish the short one this weekend.  I might have to get a library card.  I asked my facebook friends what books I should read and was very surprised with the people who answered!  Some of my well-read college friends were expected but some people from high school came out of the woodwork to make some very surprising suggestions!  People should really stop dissing facebook.  If I had to write letters to everyone I wanted to keep in contact with, my "friends list" would be way smaller.  I love how it allows users to post anything and then if their friends find it interesting or have something to say, they will.  If one were to write a direct letter to a friend they would be somewhat more obligated to comment on the things you write even if they are of no interest to them.
